Hi. It’s a 745 because it is a wagon (5 for 5 doors), but in the rear both sedan and wagons have 740 badge.
B230FT is the engine code for the 2.3 8 valves Turbo engine.
Volvo 700 series is allways rear wheel drive.
Gearbox should be an AW71

The local distributor did recognize the mistake.The car wasn’t correctly registered so papers won’t work. After one month, the local distributor changed my car to the right one.

hello the car is identified on the back as a 740 turbo intercooled you have it listed as model 745.
the engine number is B230FT128927103635 you have it listed as B230GT which is correct ?
it is a 3 speed ( D, 2, 1 ) ? automatic with overdrive what gearbox do i have ?
is it all wheel drive — feels like it
do you have any information on what cylinder head ?

I have a doubt i hope you can help me with. I’m From Chile and the vin number of my volvo v40 is YV1MV4851F2234961. According to your information:
This VIN is from a 2015 Volvo V40 (2012 – ) 1.6 T4 180hp

Chassis Number: 234961
Model Year: 2015
Model: V40 (2012 – )
Factory: [Belgium] Ghent Plant VCG 22
Engine Code: B4164T

Where Can i find official certification from Volvo of this?
The local distribuitor sold it to me like a 2.0 (190Hp) on march 2016 (like a 2016 model). Of course i don’t want to check this with them and need someone from corporative staff who can verify with offical information.
