Check all mounting screws while you have the cowl off. I had one of the collar screws missing and the opposite side was 3-4 turns loose, as was the bottom turn signal mount screw missing. Remounted all with lock washers. Be careful tightening the screws for the lever switches, they’re going into cast(pot) metal which will not take much torque.
